EvoCam

EvoCam is a very comprehensive webcam publishing and recording app. It allows you to publish from a variety of different video and audio sources, directly to the web using its built in webserver. Alternatively it supports auto emailing of images, or uploading to an FTP server, as well as local saving of files.
It also allows you to record video feeds complete with audio to create your own movies, screencasts, time lapse videos or whatever you want!
It really is very well featured as it supports a a large array of webcams and also supports motion detection, scheduling, archiving, multiple webcams, picture-in-picture, captioning, video effects, and timestamping.
It is not free but it is inexpensive and if you need this kind of app it is one of the best featured and simplest to use. You can download a trial version of EvoCam that will work for 15 days from the Evological website.
One of my other websites (Ninnycam) is powered by EvoCam and an old 300Mhz Blue and White G3 running Tiger.
EvoCam is handy as more than just another webcam app.
One of the features I like is the ability to use your monitor display as an input source allowing you to publish your screen to the web or record your antics for a web based screencast.
